Lets hope by the time you are reading this we will be able to say winter is over; I personally have had enough to last until next December.
To update everyone as to the progress of Doug and Alexis's home; it has fallen a little behind on our original projection. We are hoping that it will be completed by late May if not early June.
For those who entered and played in our first Pool Tournament; most people said they had a good day but it took a little too long. Problem corrected for our next tournament! The next tournament is on Sunday, 12 April with a 1230 PM start. I have arranged to have a second pool table for play. This second table will go on the dance floor for all matches.
Our Canteen activities have been progressing nicely. The Dean and Frank Show was a total sell out and I do believe everyone there had a fun filled evening. Do not hesitate to use the suggestion box in the Canteen for any entertainment ideas you may have or would like to see. Your opinions do matter to us!
We are trying our best to be prepared during the Lenten Fish Fry season but as with any retail outlet, we look at previous years business and make an educated decision on the volume of business we will do.
Easter Sunday the Post will be closed so at this time I want to send my blessings out to all of you and your family.
On Saturday, 26 April, we are scheduled to have the Pennsylvania Mobile Veterans Outreach Van in our parking Lot from 9AM to 2PM.
Please feel free to come by and get whatever information you have an interest like information on eligibility, service connected, disability compensation, burial benefits, and education benefits just to name a few. I am sure we can all benefit from this visit.
Stay healthy and I look forward to seeing you at the Post.
